Please note all Alpaca will have slight variations of color throughout it. Usually there will not be one solid shade of color. You will see highlights and low lights of this color like natural hair has. Banded dyed Alpaca WILL NOT have color under the rubber band. This is because the Alpaca is banded prior to dying it. When getting ready to root with/use this ffiber all you have to do is simply cut the locks you will be using a little at a time just below the rubber band. I prefer my Alpaca processed and shipped in this matter because it does not get tangled up. After the Alpaca is dyed it is soaked in super hot water with a detergent specifically designed to remove any remaining excess dye. I then triple rinse it and lightly condition it. Although EVERY effort goes into reassuring the Alpaca does not bleed I ask you to please check darker colored Alpaca in warm clear water prior to use. Also test any styling products or leave in conditioners you are planning on using on your Alpaca prior to use to avoid any possibility of bleeding! Some of these products will make it bleed even when rinsed properly. If you should see it bleeding out color rinse the individual bundles with warm water until it runs clear and allow them to dry.The Alpaca pictured is the actual hair you will receive! I never reuse pictures. Please reference the ruler next to the Alpaca for the length of it.
